Students and faculty in the LALS Department advance our understanding of Latin American and Latinx communities in this hemisphere. We use interdisciplinary methods to uncover how the Latinx experience is shaped by social factors through studying issues of migration, inequality, identity, race, ethnicity, culture, power, and knowledge across peoples and regions.
