Your gift supports facilities upkeep and repairs at the Alan Chadwick Garden, a 3-acre campus garden that was founded in 1967. For more than half a century, the site has hosted countless students, apprentices, and community members who learn about organic gardening and agroecology.
The certified-organic Chadwick Garden exhibits a diverse collection of crops, an extensive planting of fruit trees, and native California species. Students and staff at the Chadwick Garden grow produce for campus Basic Needs programs that feed students in need. The site also hosts research projects that seek to advance more sustainable agricultural practices.
