In the Education Department at UC Santa Cruz, we are closing equity gaps and improving education opportunities for historically marginalized students alongside a wide range of community partners. Our work seeks to understand the socio-cultural and socio-political contexts of education through the lens of intersectional identity and perspectives.
Donating to our department’s unrestricted fund helps us to produce research insights that inform educational policy on local and global levels while also attracting and training students from diverse backgrounds to enable us to carry out this work.
