Your gift supports the Environmental Studies Department in administering their weekly research seminar series.
This series brings together undergraduates, graduate students, staff, and faculty to discuss some of the field’s most pressing issues. Donations allow the department to provide stipends to visiting speakers and support other logistical costs associated with facilitating these discussions.
Through this series, students are able to discuss content and methodology and provide critiques of select seminars, helping them apply their critical thinking to real world problems. These interdisciplinary sites of inquiry are essential convenings for students who want to dive deep into special topics.
